Assignment Capsule
The web analytics reporting analyst is part of the Digital Metrics team at Humana. This team provides reporting and analysis for all of Humana’s digital properties targeting various audiences including prospects, members, providers, employers, and agents/brokers. The team works cross-functionally with teams in the Digital Center of Excellence including digital marketing, product management, user experience, conversion testing, and others.

The web analytics reporting analyst will be responsible for:

Consulting with business areas to learn objectives and develop specific KPIs and supporting metrics
Preparing recurring and ad-hoc reports and analyses on KPIs, using a variety of data sources to support business objectives and optimization opportunities.
Presenting findings and actionable insights in compelling dashboards and presentations with extensive attention to data and reporting accuracy.
Defining requirements for web projects and/or web enhancements based on business needs/objectives.
Consulting with internal teams on how to best leverage analytics to inform business decisions
Maintaining and disseminating web analytics best practices across internal teams and acting as a point person for web analytics data and analysis
Maintaining an understanding of industry trends and tools for on-going improvements

Role Essentials

Minimum years of experience: 2-3 years proven success in a web analytics role
Minimum degree required: Bachelor’s degree
Demonstrated success utilizing Adobe Site Catalyst, Google Analytics or IBM Digital Analytics to analyze web user behavior
Demonstrated success distilling large quantities of information into clear and concise insights, formulating actionable recommendations.
Demonstrated success identifying and addressing business measurement needs and KPIs
Demonstrated success communicating analysis to non-technical and non-analytical audiences, both in oral and written presentations.
Demonstrated success working cross functionally and building collaborative relationships across teams.
Must be extremely detail oriented, with excellent organization skills and extensive attention to detail and accuracy
Should be resourceful, work well under pressure, flexible, adaptable, able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL or SAS required
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required

Role Desirables

Experience working in a large, matrixed organization

Experience working with Tableau
